On February 26th, in order to prevent the new Corona Virus from further spreading, the Japanese government requested all citizens to cancel, postpone, or minimize the scale of all events with large gatherings for the next 2 weeks. At Masjid Nagoya, nearly 300 people gather for the Friday prayers, and around 100 for the Saturday gatherings. We have decided to announce their cancellation to prevent more infections. Kindly be advised to pray at your homes, and avoid going out as much as possible. Please continue your Duas for those struggling with illness and for the situation to get better soon.
