To those that use Masjid Nagoya, Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
We hope each and everyone is safe and doing well.

The State of Emergency has been declared once again in response to the rapid increase of Novel Coronavirus Disease. As Aichi prefecture is also subject to the declared area, Masjid Nagoya will suspend its activities from January 14th to February 7th. Kindly refer below for details.

– Cancelation of Friday prayers
Friday prayers that were separated into 3 rounds will all be canceled. There will be no Friday Khutbah.

– Change of Isha Timing
The usual 8:00PM Ishah prayer at Masjid will now be performed at 7:30PM (30minute earlier). And the Masjid will be closed by 8:00PM.

For the time being, Masjid Nagoya will continue to be opened for the 5 daily prayers, strictly following prevention measures. When entering the Masjid, individuals will be required to wear a mask and keep appropriate distances in the prayer room. Upon finishing the prayer, individuals are requested to promptly leave the Masjid.

Any individual who is feeling unwell, has symptoms of fever, has a history of traveling overseas in the past 2 months, as well as those that are unable to meet any of the conditions mentioned above, will not be allowed to enter the Masjid.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this change but we kindly request individuals to pray at your homes, and avoid going out as much as possible. Please continue your Duas for those struggling with illness and for the situation to get better soon.
